Program

DAY 1 - Pick-up in Rome Fiumicino Airport and drop-off to hotel

Welcome to the “Eternal City.” Arrive at Rome Fiumicino Airport and meet our expert driver who will transfer you to your preferred hotel located in the heart of Rome. Take time to check in and relax, then enjoy dinner on your own with recommendations from our expert guides. Overnight stay at 4-star hotel in Rome. 

DAY 2 - Ancient Rome Tour: Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Palatine Museum  

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, you will reach the Colosseum area on your own, where you will be met by our expert guide who will lead you through a 3-hour walking tour of the beauties of Ancient Rome. This tour will include the Colosseum, the largest amphitheatre in the world built by the Emperor Vespasian, which is a precious testament to the brilliant architectural and construction capacity possessed in Antiquity. After the the visit of the Flavian Amphitheater (Colosseum), you will visit the Roman Forum, which for centuries was the ancient Romans' point of reference in terms of the law, religion, and social life. You will then visit the Palatine Museum, which contains a precious collection of artifacts from ancient Rome. After the morning tour in the heart of the ancient Rome, you will have leisure time to explore the city center. Enjoy some of the best shopping in the world while immersing yourself in the architecture and history of Italy’s capital. Rome will keep you intrigued long after you have left. DAY 3 - Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, our driver will transfer you to the Vatican Museums. Here you will be met by our expert guide who will lead you through the works of art, of the Vatican Museums. Vatican Museums is a unique experience that must be experienced at least once in a lifetime. This visit is a long and interesting trip that will fill you with emotions through more than twenty centuries of history and art. Next we will visit The Sistine Chapel, including the rooms of Raphael and the art gallery Pinacoteca (just a small part of their extensive priceless collection). The Sistine Chapel is a must-see for your trip, as the site draws more than 5 million visitors per year (more than the population of Norway!). Last but not least, visit the St. Peter’s Basilica, the largest church in the world. The basilica which is home to the Holy See and considered the most important religious temple of the Catholicism. Lunch and dinner will be on your own. Leisure time in the afternoon.Overnight stay at 4-star hotel in Rome.

 DAY 4 - Transfer to Sorrento

Breakfast and check out from the hotel. After checking out, you will be transferred to the train station in Rome where you will catch the high-speed train to Naples Central Station. Once arrived to Naples, you will be met by our driver and transferred to Sorrento. Spend your afternoon exploring the stunning sights of Sorrento, famous for its ceramics, lacework, and woodwork. Find a new favorite local artist and take a piece of your trip with you to return home after your journey. Visit the three gates of Sorrento, including the Gate to the Sea, for stunning views that will keep you in awe for hours. This region is the home of limoncello, a traditional lemon digestif alcohol, which you can enjoy in countless cafes as you gaze out at cliffs plunging into the sea. DAY 5 - Amalfi Coast Scenic Tour

Enjoy breakfast at the hotelAfter breakfast, our driver will take you to a breathtaking scenic tour along the Amalfi Coast, a sceniC part of the coastline that extending from Positano to Vietri sul Mare through Amalfi. Imagine perfect turquoise water, plunging cliff lines, and warm-hued homes clinging to the cliffs—the Amalfi Coast will take your breath away.The first stop is Positano, a colorful small village is perched on the steep rocks of Monti Lattari overlooking the clear blue waters of the Gulf of Salerno. Here, you will enjoy beautiful views over unique landscapes from almost every corner of the city. After Positano, our next destination will be Amalfi, one of the most historic towns along the Amalfi Coast boasting, having had a glorious history as a maritime republic whose status joined the ranks of coastal powerhouses like Pisa, Venice, and Genoa. This history is reflected in the unique Arab- Sicilian architecture throughout the region. Ravello is our last stop before coming back to the hotel. This tiny village that sits back from the coast, perched at the top a cliff overlooking the sea with verdant gardens spilling over cascading clifflines. This enchanting city has been the inspiration of countless composers, musicians, and authors over the centuries. After the tour, you will be transferred back to the hotel and have time to enjoy dinner on your own. Overnight stay at a charming four-star B&B in Sorrento.

DAY 6 - Leisure Day  

Enjoy breakfast at the hotelAfter breakfast, we recommend to visit Capri, on of the most spectacular Italian Islands, where villas bedecked in wisteria line winding roads along the stunning limestone cliffs. A favorite resort of Roman emperors, this centuries-old resort town is the perfect place to enjoy the view of the sunrise over the mountains or sunset over the sea. Alternately, spend more time in Sorrento to indulge in sweet gelato or a glass of limoncello. Overnight stay at a charming four-star B&B in Sorrento.

DAY 7 - Transfer to Florence

Breakfast and check out from the hotel. After breakfast, you will be transferred to Naples Central Station and where you will catch the high-speed train to Florence. Arrive at the Florence train station and transfer to the hotel on your own. Spend the afternoon at leisure exploring Florence, the cradle of the Renaissance known as the birthplace of opera and an important arts and cultural hub of Italy. Walk through narrow, medieval pathways before popping into the modern city center. Centuries of arts and architecture are right at your fingertips as you get lost in the city. From the city center, you can climb to the church of San Miniato al Monte for the most amazing view of the city. Enjoy dinner on your own at an enticing restaurant you find while wandering. Overnight stay at 4-star hotel in Florence.

DAY 8 - Florence 3-hour walking tour

Enjoy breakfast at the hotelAfter breakfast, you will be met at the lobby of your hotel by our expert guide who will lead through the beauties of Florence: the Piazza Duomo with Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral and Giotto’s Bell Tower (external visit), Piazza del Signoria with the imposing Palazzo Vecchio (external visit), the Ponte Vecchio (the old bridge) and the area of Santa Croce. Enjoy lunch on your own. Spend your afternoon at leisure browsing local art shops and finding a succulent dinner made in the traditional Italian style. Nearly 100 museums and countless art galleries await you around the next bend in the meandering alleys. Enjoy some of the most stunning city views you will experience in your lifetime as you explore this Renaissance gem, and be sure to look up as the ceilings are often home to some of the best art. Overnight stay at 4-star hotel in Florence.

DAY 9 - Bologna Food Tour

After breakfast, you will go to the Florence train station on your own and catch the high- speed train from Florence to Bologna (transfer time about 30-40 minutes). At the Bologna train station, you be met by our expert guide for an exciting 2.5-hour food tour of Bologna (the tasting of local products is about € 13 per person which you will need to pay on-site. and it will have to be paid on site)! To start the day, we will taste some excellent chocolate in the oldest shop in Bologna. These mouth-watering dishes will include mortadella, a heat-cured pork sausage. We will reveal the secret stories about the ancient medieval market and learn more about the world-famous food culture in Bologna. We will also taste regional wines like the red Sangiovese and sparkling white Pignoletto. Rest assured, these mouth-watering wines are far better than the varieties you can get at home! Enjoy lunch on your own at one of the many enticing restaurants in Bologna, then spend the remainder of the day at leisure. Climb up the hillside to see the sprawling red dwellings dotting the landscape below, or find your refuge in one of the many graffiti-filled plazas. Bologna is also home to the world’s oldest continuously operating university, which boasts stunning grounds and impressive architecture. In the late afternoon, you will reach the train station of Bologna on your own and catch the high-speed train to Bologna-Florence. DAY 10 - Transfer to Venice and Venice 3-hour walking tour

Breakfast and check out from the hotelAfter breakfast, you will reach the train station in Florence and catch the the high-speed train that brings you to Venice. After your arrival to the Venice train station, you will be transferred to your hotel by private taxi boat. Take time to check-in to your hotel and relax. In the afternoon, you will be met at the lobby of your hotel by our expert guide and together you will stroll through the main areas of the Floating City,” including the Ponte di Rialto bridge, the fascinating side streets of the city, and the iconic St. Mark Square. Take in the sights of this distinguished marble city situated over 400 bridges and 150 canals. Enjoy lunch on your own, whether you want to hustle and bustle of a busy plaza or a quiet side-street serving up authentic Italian fare. Enjoy a glass of Prosecco or try a local favorite Venissa—a white wine made on the Venetian islands. Spend your afternoon at leisure exploring the floating city. DAY 11 - Leisure day

Enjoy breakfast at the hotelAfter breakfast, we recommend to visit one of the following places: Venice Islands (Murano & Burano): Known as the glassmaking capital of Italy, Murano’s glassblowing tradition dates back to the 13th century. Check out the glass jewelry as well as chandeliers and lamps that are unique to this region. Burano, an archipelago of four islands linked by bridges, is a picturesque island known for its intricate lace artwork. Vicenza, the City of Palladio: Famous for its 16th-century architecture by famed architect Andrea Palladio. Stroll its quaint streets to glimpse iconic architectural wonders and stop by the Olympic Theater to see a part of history.  Lunch and dinner will be on your own. Overnight stay at 4-star hotel in Venice

DAY 12 - Transfer to Venice Airport

Breakfast at the hotel. Pick-up at your hotel and transfer to Venice Marco Polo airport according to your flight schedule. Arrivederci and we hope to see you again!
