Day 1. Pick-up at Venice Marco Polo airport and transfer to Piazzale Roma.From here, transfer to the hotel by private taxi boat. Overnight at 4* hotel in Venice.
Day 2. Breakfast. You will be met by our expert guide (3h) who will lead you through the beauties and the tastes of Venice: you will stroll through the “calle” (narrow streets), canals, unknown bridges and the most known one, the Rialto Bridge. On the way to St. Mark square you will get in small bars also called “Bacari”. Here it is possible tasting the very famous Spritz (aperitif) and the “cicchetti” (small snacks/side dishes similar to Spanish tapas). Strolling among the streets of Venice, stopping for a drink, tasting local food. What’s more ?. Lunch on your own. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight at 4* hotel in Venice.
Day 3. Breakfast. In the morning you will take the high-speed train to Verona, the city of Romeo and Juliet. Arrival to the train station of Verona and transfer by your own to the hotel. Check-in and time for relax (lunch on your own). In the afternoon you will be met by our expert guide (2.5 h) and together you will explore the beauties of one most stunning cities in Italy: Piazza Bra with its magnificent Arena (external visit), Via Mazzini, Piazza delle Erbe, the Balcony of Juliet. Overnight at 4* hotel in Verona.
Day 4. Breakfast. After breakfast we will take you to a traditional house not far from Verona. Here you will be met by the Chef and taken into the battlefield: the kitchen ! Enjoy an authentic Italian cooking lesson and learn the basic cooking techniques to prepare simple and delicious recipes ! Lunch. In the afternoon you will be transferred to Valpolicella, one of Italy’s most important wine area. Here you will visit a family-run winery and taste the main wine of this land, the Amarone. In late afternoon transfer back to Verona. Overnight at 4* hotel in Verona.
Day 5. Breakfast. After breakfast you will be transferred to the gentle countryside around lake Garda. This area is known for its charming towns, unique landscapes and for local gastronomic products. One of these is the excellent extra virgin olive oil. After having met the farm’s owner you will visit the olive tree groves, the oil mill and the cellar for aging Parmesan cheese. Tasting of farm’s local product. After the visit you will be transferred to Sirmione, also called the “pearl of lake Garda”. Lunch on your own. Follows a 3 hours walking tour of Sirmione (private guide) with visit to the village, the Scaliger castle and the Catullo’s Grotto Roman Villa. In the evening you will be transferred back to Verona. Overnight at 4* hotel in Verona.
Day 6. Breakfast. Pick-up at the hotel and transfer to the enchanting Prosecco’s hills. Here you will have a first visit to a traditional winery located in the heart of Valdobbiadene, where the best wines, secrets and traditions are preserved. Tour of the winery and tasting of Prosecco wine. After the visit you will be transferred to a charming traditional restaurant nestled in the middle of Prosecco’s hills. In the afternoon you will have a second winery tour and tasting to another traditional winery located not far from the restaurant. After the visit you will be transferred back to the Verona. Overnight at 4* hotel in Verona.
Day 7. Breakfast. Pick-up at your hotel and transfer to Vicenza, where you will be met by our guide (3h) who will lead you through the streets, the squares and the monuments of the Golden City of Palladio. From Corso Andrea Palladio you will reach Piazza dei Signori, the heart of the city. Here you will be impressed by the imposing Basilica Palladiana, the Renaissance building that represent the symbol of the city. From here you will easily reach Piazza delle Erbe (we recommend an aperitif to Il Grottino bar) and the Olympic Theatre (internal visit). For lunch we chose a typical Veneto trattoria located few kilometers from Vicenza. Here we strongly recommend the Soppressa vicentina (salumi) and ravioli filled with guinea-fowl. About wine ? A bottle of Valpolicella Roccolo Grassi wine ! We do recommend not taking any dessert, because it will be served to another special location. After lunch we will take you to visit one of the symbols of “Made in Italy” specialized in production and sales of Panettoni. Loison is a family-run company that can be defined as an “artisan of good food” with over 70 years of experience. Born as a small wood-oven bakery, today has become a well- established company whose production is in demand all over the world. During the tour you will visit the production center and discover the “hidden secrets” to make excellent products, you will see the “treasure chest” and taste a delicious slice of Panettone. After the tour you will be transferred back to Verona. Overnight at 4* hotel in Verona.
Day 8. Breakfast. Pick-up at your preferred hotel located in Verona and transfer to Venice Marco Polo airport. End of the services. “Arrivederci”.
