Day 1. Pick-up at Venice Marco Polo airport and transfer to your preferred hotel located in Verona. Overnight at 4* hotel in Verona.
Day 2. Breakfast. Meeting with the guide and walking tour of the stunning city of Romeo and Juliet (2.5 h): Piazza Bra with its magnificent Arena (external visit), Via Mazzini, Piazza delle Erbe, the Balcony of Juliet. Lunch on your own. In the afternoon you will be transferred to Valpolicella, one of Italy’s most important wine area. Here you will visit a family-run winery and taste the main wine of this land, the Amarone. In late afternoon transfer back to Verona. Overnight at 4* hotel in Verona.
Day 3. Breakfast. In the morning you will take the train to Venice reaching the the most unique city in the world in about 1h 15 minutes. At the head of the rail you will meet our expert guide who will lead you through the beauties and tastes of the city. From Venice Santa Lucia to St. Mark square you will explore the city of Venice visiting the small “calle” (narrow streets), canals, unknown bridges and the most known one, the Rialto Bridge. On the way to St. Mark square you will get in small bars also called “Bacari”. Here it is possible tasting the very famous Spritz (aperitif) and the “cicchetti” (small snacks/side dishes similar to Spanish tapas). Strolling among the streets of Venice, stopping for a drink, tasting local food. What’s more ? In the afternoon you will have leisure time to visit monuments, museums or having a gondola ride. In the evening transfer back to Verona by train. Overnight at 4* hotel in Verona.
Day 4. Breakfast. Today you will visit a sturgeons farm specialized in production and distribution of caviar. The experience is really interesting because probably no ones could think that Italy stands out for caviar production. The visit aims to discover the life cycle of sturgeons, the evocative fountains, the Acquarium and the ancient Malossol salting technique. After the tour you will be transferred to the one of the selected restaurants to taste this culinary delight with combination of food. After lunch you will be transferred to Franciacorta, one of Italy’s top wine area for sparkling wine. Here you will have a tour of a selected winery with tasting of Franciacorta wine. After the tour you will be transferred back to Verona. Overnight at 4* hotel in Verona.
Day 5. Breakfast. Today you have the chance to live an amazing experience in the Province of Parma, land of good food. Here you will visit the ancient Court Pallavicina, an enchanting and relaxing place nestled in the countryside not far from Parma. The tour starts with a visit to the Castle and to the culatello ancient cellars and continues with the visit to the Corte’s farm, with “Black Parmesan” breed of pigs, the traditional local breeds of cows, the farmyard animals, the kitchen gardens, the orchard of traditional fruit varieties. At the end of the tour you can choose if having lunch at the Osteria (selection of salumi, cheese and a main course) or at the michelin starred restaurant of the Court (strongly recommended). After lunch, in the afternoon, transfer back to Verona. Overnight at 4* hotel in Verona.
Day 6. Breakfast. Pick-up at your preferred hotel located in Verona and transfer to Venice Marco Polo airport. End of the services. “Arrivederci”.
