Day 1. Pick-up at Turin Airport and transfer to your preferred accommodation located Langhe, a small district of Piedmont region known to be one of the most beautiful wine areas in the world. Dinner. Overnight at agriturismo/4* hotel in Langhe area.
Day 2. Breakfast. The Langhe are a land undeniable worth and priceless beauty with its rolling hills and amazing landscapes. Today you’ll visit a winery nestled in the middle of these dramatic hills and specialized in producing “the king of wines, the wine of kings”, the Barolo wine. After the visit tasting of this superlative wine. Lunch on your own. In the afternoon you’ll reach the town of Barolo, a picturesque hilltop village famous the castle, the wine shops and the Corkscrew Museum, one of the few examples in the world. Guided tour of this very original museum that tells the birth, the history and the evolution of the corkscrew all over the world. Here it is also possible tasting some of the wines proposed by the owner (from € 2.5 to € 7 per glass). Dinner. Overnight at agriturismo/4* hotel in Langhe area.
Day 3. Breakfast. Have you ever heard of the city of Bra ? And did you know that is also called the “city of cheese” ? Today you will explore the world of cheese through a guided tour at a local cheese refiner and tasting of the products. After the visit transfer to Pollenzo, the place where is based of one the most important Universities of Gastronomic Sciences in the world. Lunch at the Albergo dell’Agenzia’s restaurant. In the afternoon guided tour of Pollenzo and visit to the Bank of Wine located inside the University. Tasting of 2 wines. Dinner. Overnight at agriturismo/4* hotel in Langhe area.
Day 4. Breakfast. Pick-up at your accommodation and transfer to Turin, first Italy’s capital and currently capital of Piedmont region. Check-in at the hotel and relax. Lunch on your own. In the afternoon you’ll discover the beauties Turin through a very interesting walking tour of the city. Our expert guide will lead you through the marvelous city centre with its squares, Royal palaces and symbols of the Savoy Family. Turin is also famous for the gastronomy and today you’ll also have the chance to taste the delicious chocolate of the city ! Overnight at 4* hotel in Turin.
Day 5. Breakfast. Day at Leisure. As alternative it is possible choosing among the following options: Milan / Lake Maggiore and Borromean Islands guided tour / Lake Orta & the Sacred Mount guided tour / Reggia of Venaria Reale guided tour / Egyptian Museum guided tour. Overnight at 4* hotel in Turin.
Day 6. Breakfast. Pick-up at your preferred accommodation and transfer to the Vercellese plain, also called “Piedmont’s middle-earth”. This area located about 70 kms from Turin is very known for paddy fields and rice production. Here you’ll visit the Principality of Lucedio, the ancient abbey founded in 1123 by the Cistercian monks, where fit is possible to admire the fortified walls, the parish church, the abbey, the singular bell tower. After the visit transfer to Vercelli, the main Vercellese plain’s city. Lunch at a local restaurant and tasting of the most important dish of this area, the risotto. After lunch you will have an exciting walking tour through the beauties of the city: the Basilica of St. Andrew, Piazza Cavour and the historical city center. Overnight at 4* hotel in Turin.
Day 7. Breakfast. Transfer to Turin airport. “Arrivederci”. End of the services.
